My Story:
Blue Sky Spa and Massage is Led by Rosi, LMT #20225 OBMT, and here is her story:
I was in the beauty industry for 23 years in China and I really like cosmetology. I started to study hair styling in 1986. On April 12, 1987, I opened my first salon, “Cheng Hui Hair Design” in Changsha, Hunan province.
In September 1992, I expanded my career and opened the “New World Beauty Center” in Changsha. Services included cosmetics, hairdressing, microblading and massage. Then I moved to Guangzhou, the City of Flowers, and started a chain of beauty salons and spas. Services provided included hair design, skin care, weight loss, acupuncture, massage, thai massage, spa, foot bath, foot reloxology and cupping.
After meeting my husband, I closed all my salons in China and came to the United States. During this time, I studied Chinese medicine at Alhambra Medical University in L.A. In 2014, I received the massage therapy license and federation of state massage therapy boards. I also obtained my Oregon massage therapy license.
Through this experience, I realized my passion was to bring traditional Chinese medicine treatment to the United States. I want to help people to live long healthy lives and live their lives without pain. That is why I opened Blue Beauty Massage and Spa in Albany, Oregon to continue my passion for massage therapy and cosmetology.
In the past few years, I have furthered my education in traditional Chinese medicine learning how to keep the body’s meridians in balance through massage. In 2020, I started to study hand patch therapy, a traditional Chinese medicine technique that helps relieve pain. Now, I combine traditional Chinese medicine techniques such as hand patch therapy with massage therapy to help relieve pain, relax muscles, balance meridians and prevent pain from returning in clients who have headaches, sciatica, plantar fasciitis, neck, back, shoulder, hip, knee, ankle or any other bodily pain.

2004 - Chinese and English Acupuncture certificate from Basic Medical School of Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine
2014 - Massage therapy from Los Angeles Alhambra Medical University school LMT #20225 OBMT (500 hours of licensed massage therapy)
2018 - Oregon Beauty Certification and Massage Certificate from Portland Beauty School (600 hours of license massage therapy)
2021 - Hand Patch Therapy certificate approved by National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine
